Our client is a financial services firm. They seek a Fund Accounting Manager to join their Los Angeles, CA office. This opportunity offers a hybrid work schedule and comprehensive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the reconciliation process and the team

Understand partnership agreements and investment purchase/sale agreements

Ensure new portfolios and investments are set up in the TPAs system

Understand the full reconciliation process and troubleshoot any errors

Create a process to reconcile public stock sale transactions efficiently

Develop a guide on how to treat and record tax with holdings

Perform other tasks and duties as requested or as responsibilities dictate

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

4-7 years of accounting experience

Experience with Investment Company Accounting

Knowledge of ASC 820 (FAS 157) and FIN 48

Organized with strong problem-solving skills

Able to multitask and meet strict deadlines

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Skilled in Excel and PowerBI
