About The Role

We’re partnering with a fast-growing public company seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to support its corporate accounting function. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hands‑on accounting, cross‑functional collaboration, and process improvement work within a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 plus bonus and additional benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned areas in the monthly close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and reviewing financial data for accuracy
• Review and apply foreign currency exchange rates, intercompany eliminations, and department-level expense allocations as part of monthly activities
• Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of the close timeline and implement streamlined procedures
• Assist in drafting and updating accounting policies that support consistency and accuracy across global teams
• Prepare audit schedules and provide timely responses to requests during external audits and quarterly reviews
• Ensure ongoing compliance with SOX 404 requirements and maintain strong internal control documentation
• Support both internal and SEC reporting processes by compiling data and assisting with deliverables tied to financial statements and regulatory filings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of public accounting experience or 4+ years of experience in a mid-sized to large corporate environment
• CPA license preferred
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and general ledger processes
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems
• Organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
