** Accounting Lead
** to join them. You will report to the
** Accounting Manager
** and will have an

** To be considered for the Accounting Lead opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* CPA certification or Big 4 experience.
* 3+ years of experience with managerial exposure being a plus.
* Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, practices and procedures affecting the maintenance of accounting records and automated accounting systems.
* Ability to interpret and apply accounting theory; to work accurately with numerical detail; to analyze, consolidate, and interpret accounting data.
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills
* Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
** As an Accounting Lead, you will:
*** Manage and coach staff/senior accountants
* Assist the Accounting Manager to manage month-end close process, including checklists to keep the team on track for a 3-day close.
* Own complex accounting topics such as inventory provisions, warranty provisions, and deferred consideration.
* Support the preparation of accurate financial statements and disclosures, including compliance with relevant standards.
* Manage communication with tax team to ensure timely completion of returns.
* Partner with FP&A to analyze results and prepare related reporting.
* Help maintain internal controls in place and keep documentation up to date.
* Coordinate internal and external audits and handle requests efficiently.
* Collaborate with team members to improve accounting and business processes.
* Assist in maintaining and improving processes and related documentation.
* Ad hoc requests and reporting.

** Compensation Pay Range**$115,000 - $125,000/year, based on experience
