THE COMPANY: Intrinsic Development is a full‑service real estate development company that specializes in upscale multi‑family and commercial mixed‑use developments. With more than 3.5 million square feet of completed projects and 300,000 square feet under construction, we have delivered hospitality venues, mixed‑use developments, multi‑family units, hotels, clinics, offices and restaurants across six Midwestern states. We are expanding into Lee's Summit, Missouri, and launching a 260‑acre mixed‑use development that will feature ~2,900 luxury multi‑family units and over 660,000 sq ft of retail, office, entertainment, hospitality, and other commercial uses.
SeniorStaff Accountant Position
We are seeking a highly capable Senior Staff Accountant to oversee all accounting responsibilities related to our construction business. In this role you will manage the entire accounting process and actively participate in the tasks outlined below.
Responsibilities- Cash analysis and forecasting for multiple LLCs
- Heavy involvement in operational budgeting for operating real estate
- Monitor budget‑to‑actual performance of construction and operating projects
- Fixed‑asset tracking
- Analyze and schedule Construction in Progress accounts
- Assist in compiling management financial reports
- Work with lenders on construction and permanent financing information needs
- 3+ years of financial analysis experience (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required)
- Procore and Sage/Timberline experience (preferred)
- Ability to learn other financial software
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work well in a collaborative environment
