Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $130,000 to $160,000 per year.

• Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement variances for compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial reporting packages for executive leadership.
• Identify inefficiencies in accounting processes and implement improvements and automation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior and staff accountants to promote accuracy and continuous improvement.

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Apply advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling.
• Utilize ERP systems effectively and support implementation of new financial technologies.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate with auditors during annual external audits.
• Research and document technical accounting issues and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Bring experience managing month-end close processes and financial audits.
• Exhibit strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop accounting staff.
• Show familiarity with manufacturing, CPG, or food processing industries;
  Big 4 experience is highly desirable.
