Platform Accounting Group is a rapidly growing professional services firm providing tax, accounting, assurance, IT consulting, and wealth management services to small and medium sized businesses and their owners. We currently have 48 offices across 14 States with much more growth on the horizon. • Prepare work papers and perform audit/review/compilation procedures for assurance engagements
• Prepare financial statements (including full footnote disclosures) for assurance engagements
• Perform high level analytic analysis on client financial data
• Determine and recommend corrections to client’s books/records to be in accordance with GAAP
• Utilize various trial balance, depreciation, tax and other software to prepare tax returns and organize assurance documentation
• Prepare and self-review a wide variety of tax returns such as S corporations, C Corporations, partnerships, LLC’s, individuals and trusts)

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on accounting; candidate should have taken classes sufficient to be able to sit for the Uniform CPA Exam
• 0 - 3 years’ experience in the public accounting industry
• CPA license preferred or actively working towards
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, strong analytical skills
• Proficient with accounting software, and ability to learn new systems quickly
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Proactive problem solving and ability to self-manage projects
• Experience with Ultra Tax and Checkpoint Engage a plus
• Strong knowledge of Quick Books and Excel

• Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 per year based on skills/experience plus applicable bonus
