Staff Accountant – Join a Collaborative Finance Team

We’re hiring a Staff Accountant to join a growing finance team in St. Louis. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day operations by processing invoices, assisting with month-end close and reconciliations, collaborating across departments, and supporting leadership on a variety of accounting tasks.

What You’ll Do:

• Help with the month-end close process and assist in preparing necessary accruals
• Review and enter invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements
• Reconcile credit card transactions and match deposits
• Keep an eye on accounts payable aging and make sure payments go out on time
• Enter purchase orders and verify terms and approvals
• Support account reconciliations and ensure financial records are accurate
• Record intercompany activity and help balance accounts monthly
• Collaborate with internal teams on contracts, billing, and process documentation

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience
• Solid understanding of AP/AR processes, accruals, and general ledger work
• Experience with ERP systems
• Strong eye for details, keeps things organized, and the ability to follow through
• Takes initiative and works well independently, but also enjoys being part of a team and helping others.
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally with both coworkers and outside partners.
