ACCOUNTS ASSOCIATE

We are seeking an Accounts Associate to join our finance team. The incumbent will primarily be responsible for the review of shipment costings and posting of shipments as well as vendor receivables management among other accounting functions.

• Review assigned agencies’ shipment costings prepared by the Logistics department for completeness and accuracy
• Posting shipments in a timely manner to make inventory available for sale
• Journal preparation to record vendor receivables, submit monthly statements to vendors and follow up on timely collections.
• Prepares audit schedules monthly to be used in External Audit.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance or Accounting.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Three (3) years working experience in an accounting environment with a strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and analytical skills
