Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with expertise in General Ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, and statutory audits. The ideal candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General Ledger (GL) Management: Maintain and review the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Month-End & Year-End Closing: Execute month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and other regulatory requirements.
  • GL Review & Reconciliations: Conduct GL account reviews, perform reconciliations, and ensure proper classification of transactions.
  • Statutory Audits: Assist in statutory audits, coordinate with auditors, and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with Indian tax laws, GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial reporting and accounting operations.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Hands-on experience with General Ledger accounting, financial statements, and book closing activities.
  • Expertise in statutory audit processes and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
