Business Solutions Director at Ledgent Finance & AccountingSeeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Accounting Assistant to join a growing finance team at a leading real estate company in downtown Los Angeles. This position supports the accounting department with day‑to‑day operations and ensures accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile bank statements, and maintain general ledger accuracy.
- Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation.
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues.
- Assist with audits and compliance requirements as needed.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including data entry and filing.
- Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. - Experience:
1‑2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; real estate industry experience is a plus. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Yardi, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
