Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $140,000 to $160,000 per year.

• Oversee monthly close processes and ensure timely preparation of accurate financial statements.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports for compliance with accounting standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement automation where possible.
• Manage project accounting and collaborate with operations to monitor performance and profitability.
• Lead and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring effective workflow and adherence to policies.

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and payroll accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills for financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities to handle multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and leadership skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with attention to detail.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years within a leadership role.
• CPA certification, or equivalent professional designation.
• Prior experience with project-based accounting and revenue recognition practices.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and reporting tools such as Net Suite and Power BI.
