Staff Accountant

Business Solutions Director at Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join the accounting team at a growing marketing company in West Los Angeles. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is passionate about maintaining accurate financial records and supporting business operations.

$65,000.00/yr - $78,000.00/yr

• Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed.
• Prepare financial reports and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Assist with audits and provide documentation as required.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Experience:
  
  2+ years of accounting experience; marketing or agency experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Quick Books, Net Suite, or similar and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
