Description Robert Half Finance & Accounting Contract Talent is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our client's team on a temporary opportunity basis.
Key Responsibilities
Perform accurate accounting data entry and maintain financial records
Complete simple account reconciliations
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Process and post payments
Enter and process invoices
Provide general accounting support as needed
Qualifications
1+ year of accounting experience
Previous experience processing AP and/or AR
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic Excel skills
Experience with Acumatica, Teams, and Outlook is preferred
Self-sufficient and comfortable working independently
Not afraid to ask questions and speak up when clarification is needed
Willing to communicate openly and take ownership if a mistake is made
Additional Details
3-month temporary assignment
40 hours per week, generally 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with some flexibility
Onsite position
Business casual dress environment
Target start date is within a week or so

- Prior exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, or both in a detail-focused setting.
- Strong data entry accuracy and careful attention to detail when handling financial information.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for routine tracking and reporting tasks.
- Ability to work independently, manage assigned tasks, and maintain accountability for results.
- Comfortable asking questions, communicating openly, and addressing issues promptly when clarification is needed.
- Familiarity with Acumatica, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook is preferred.
