• Assist with a variety of accounting, reporting, project monitoring, record keeping and accounting file maintenance, including the preparation of accounting transactions associated with revenue, budget, journal entries and program monthly journal entries.
• Establish and maintain various in-house spreadsheets and logs supplemental to the departments accounting systems.
• Enter data to the financial system.
• Work with Managers to ensure proper approval and general ledger coding.
• Analyze statements, making sure all invoices are processed timely and correctly.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial documentation and reporting.
• Ensure filing is organized and accurate.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Must have strong organizational skills.
• Excellent working with computers and spreadsheets required.
• Ability to think analytically when reviewing financial information.
• Previous experience in billing, finance, or other related fields
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel. and Power Point
• Sage intact experience preferred.
• Knowledge of standard accounting procedures.
