Position: Part Time Project Manager/Office Assistant The Rack House Kitchen Wine Whiskey
Location: Cottleville
The Rack House is looking for someone who is primarily available from 9am to 2pm a few days a week.  That can be flexible.  The days of the week don’t really matter, anything between Monday through Friday for the most part.  The hours dont have to be set.  Anything from 4hrs a week up to maybe 16hrs or so, depending on what we’ve got going  my mind I’m thinking of someone who is retired, semi-retired, or has kids in school and needs something to supplement when they’re in class.  

IF they had bar/server/hospitality background and could occasionally fill in a shift (emergency) that would be a big bonus, but not a necessity.

Their primary focus would be networking and bringing in new business:– Attend networking groups, Chamber events, that work within the schedule– Proactively contact businesses that could utilize us. Ex) high end apartments in the area to set up wine tasting events, or contacting doctors offices about lunch catering, or financial managers about setting up dinner events.– Project manage offsite events.– IF available during the evenings, attend some of the offsite events– Manage networking calendar, attend when possible, assign other attendees when needed.–

Review all Chamber calendars and update our calendar to reflect– Able to use Canva, MS Publisher, MS Word, Excel Secondary focus would be office work/admin:– Update table tents– Print menus– Help with inventory– Run to the bank or Target, etc.– Answer the phone during the day– Put away liquor/inventory deliveries– Submit temporary liquor licenses for offsite events

Tertiary focus would be maintenance/repair/cleaning, depending on ability– Power wash patios– Trim wisteria– Sweep sidewalks– Deep clean areas that the staff don’t get to during routine close– Keep the cigar lockers humidifiers filled, check humidity, clean

Bonus for me if possible– If available earlier, attend some of the networking groups that start at 730/8am– Occasionally open up for repair techs, which can sometimes be as early as 7am.
