Job Description and Duties- Provides clerical support for Workers' Compensation Judges, including preparation and service of orders, correspondence, reports, decisions and awards.
- Registers and completes tasks within the Electronic Adjudication Management System (EAMS) for processing incoming and outgoing documents.
- Assists the WCJ in maintaining EAMS records and assists parties and the public with inquiries.
- Effective July 1 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated excluded state employees are subject to a salary reduction of 2%‑4.62% in exchange for hours in the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) per month.

Training and development assignment eligibility may also be considered.
Working Conditions- Location:
San Diego DWC district office, 7575 Metropolitan Dr. Ste 202, San Diego, CA 92108. - Full‑time, permanent, 40‑hour per week in an office setting.
- Daily use of personal computer, keyboard, telephone, fax, and other office equipment. Must attend meetings, be willing to travel for off‑site training, work in a team environment, and work independently.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Typing certificate – 45 words per minute.
- English literacy at the level required for successful job performance.
- Effective communication, follow directions, analyze situations, manage time, and be responsive to management needs.
