Benefits Assistant – Gibson Dunn
Based in Los Angeles, CA.
Base Pay Range: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year.
Responsibilities:
- Creating, monitoring, and maintaining employee and partner files.
- Scheduling and arranging new hire benefits orientations.
- Monitoring new hire automated benefits notices, assisting with open enrollment, ordering supplies, and organizing and coordinating mass mailing projects.
- Assisting with COBRA process and generating initial COBRA notices and COBRA termination notices.
- Maintaining various logs, performing monthly audits of insurance plans, reconciling and processing payment of monthly bills for various insurance plans.
- Analyzing data and running People Soft processes.
- Maintaining updated desk procedures.
- Performing and providing support for special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Highly organized to effectively plan, track, evaluate and follow up on multiple priorities for multiple people.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and sense of urgency around customer service.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.
Experience:
- Some experience in Benefits or Human Resources department strongly preferred.
- Experience in benefits or financial analysis and administration.
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel skills.

Compensation: The annual compensation range for this position is $60-70k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
