New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of alternate range when applicable.
The Limited Term / Full Time Office Technician (Typing) will report to the Program Assistant on Program VII at the Department of State Hospitals – Atascadero. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Attend various meetings to take, type, and distribute minutes.
- Develop and maintain a filing system for forms and documents, including electronic filing.
- Maintain tracking systems required by the program, such as Performance for Probationary Employees and annual staff Performance Appraisal.
- Process documents related to the operational function of the program, including work orders and storeroom requests.
- Maintain and update all program manuals.
- Utilize hospital computer systems to enter data, develop reports as requested by superiors, retrieve and route reports.
