This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento. Are you passionate about customer service, data analytics, and improving the employee learning experience? In this dynamic role within the Learning & Development Branch, you will conduct complex analytical tasks that drive the success of learning and development programs. Reporting to the Staff Services Manager I, the incumbent evaluates program effectiveness, develops and manages training contracts, maintains critical data within the department’s learning management system (LMS), and oversees training materials that support in‑person training.
You’ll partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure programs are delivered efficiently and effectively, helping team members at every level grow and succeed.

Duty Statement
Working ConditionsPart‑time telework available. Telework requires California residency. This position offers hybrid telework opportunities; however, telework arrangements are subject to change at any time based on State & departmental operational needs. Employees may be required to report to the office as necessary.

Primarily sedentary role, requiring extended periods of sitting; adjustable desks may be available to promote movement and flexibility. - Technology Usage:
Utilize a computer terminal for most tasks, involving extended periods of typing and screen time with appropriate ergonomic support to enhance comfort. - Effective Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with team members and stakeholders efficiently. - Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed, particularly for packing materials and supplies, ensuring a hands‑on approach to certain tasks. - Manual Dexterity:
The role requires fine hand manipulation and repetitive use of hands, making attention to ergonomics and breaks important for overall well‑being. - Drive requirement:
Drives a minimum of one (1) day per week as part of the job duties (includes state vehicles).
