Office Technician; Typing

Monthly salary: $3,829.00 – $4,794.00. New to state candidates start at the minimum salary of the classification.

• Maintain records of new contracts, amendments, task orders, and consultant monthly invoices.
• Data entry, communicate with clients, use word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Create reports using Excel pivot tables and formulas.
• Use File Maker Pro, CGI Advantage, info Advantage, and Datalink queries for data entry and reporting.
• Support other offices by providing Program Manager status updates and preparing documents for Public Records requests.
• Prepare minutes from staff meetings and maintain office supply inventory.
• Assist with interview scheduling, setting up interview rooms, and escorting visitors.
• Process incoming and outgoing mail.

• Typing speed at minimum speed as designated in the class specifications; a valid typing certificate is required prior to hiring.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a State owned or leased vehicle.
• Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) must be typed, no more than two pages in length, 12‑point Arial font.
