Job OverviewWe’re seeking an energetic, positive-minded Automotive Assistant General Manager who embraces challenges with enthusiasm and prioritizes guest satisfaction above all else.
Compensation: $70k-$90k base + Annual Bonus (paid monthly) + up to 5% commission- PTO & (6) Annual Paid Holidays

- Provide cross-location support to the Sacramento and Orangevale shops based on business needs.
- Supervise and guide a team of automotive technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Perform advanced diagnostic tests and repairs on vehicles, serving as a mentor and resource for junior technicians.
- Provide technical guidance and training to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members.
- Collaborate closely with service advisors to ensure clear communication and understanding of customer vehicle concerns.
- Oversee the scheduling of repairs and maintenance jobs to optimize shop productivity and meet customer expectations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.
- Prior experience as an Automotive Mechanic/Technician demonstrating strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent problem solving and diagnostic skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment to meet or exceed hourly goals.
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds.
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head.
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair.
- Have the needed dexterity to efficiently use hand-tools.
- Walk/stand for the majority of the workday.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Maintain a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment.
- Efficiently navigate a computer.
