Quality Manager

What You’ll Do- Develop and advocate for critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across quality functions and train teams on metric usage to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead strategic enhancements to quality processes and collaborate with the Director of Operations on a process improvement plan.
- Oversee direct reports, mentor, set priorities, and foster professional growth while implementing quality and efficiency improvements.
- Lead the cross‑functional RMA review board, problem‑solving process, and related projects.
- Pioneer defect‑reduction initiatives, improve corrective action performance, and maintain process control and compliance.
- Facilitate and support Quality Audits when required.
- Embrace additional responsibilities as they arise.
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in a quality‑focused role.
- Prior leadership experience.
- Knowledge of 8D Problem‑Solving Philosophy.
- Proficiency with Lean Manufacturing Principles.
- Familiarity with corrective actions and problem‑solving techniques.
- Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship‑building, and organizational skills.
- Bias for action and capacity to work with urgency.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, projects, and priorities.
- Collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
