Sunset Ford is hiring Service Technicians to join our team and help capture the increase in demand for the maintenance and repair of larger Ford vehicles.

We have a clean shop with new tools, new lifts, and a spacious work environment.

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Inspects vehicle for safety and maintenance needs such as worn brakes or tires.
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
• Provides an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Obtains certifications and training expectations from Ford Motor Company
• Provides detailed documentation on repair order to claim warranty properly from Ford

• Previous experience as a Service Technician
• Understanding of and ability to repair large trucks and diesel powertrain
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Ability to learn quickly and provide top‑notch customer service
• Basic Computer Skills
• Great teammate
• Clean and valid driver’s license
• Ensures that customer’s cars are kept clean
• Maintain stall in an orderly and clean manner
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
