Automotive Technician​/Mechanic

Sneed Ford is growing and currently seeking an experienced Automotive Technician/ Mechanic to join our team.
* Prior Automotive Technician experience is required for this position*

• Prior Automotive Technician experience required
• Prior Auto Dealership experience required
• Valid Driver's license & clean driving record required
• Prior Automotive Ford Lincoln Dealership experience preferred, but not required
• ASE certification is a plus, but not required

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems include engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
• Assist in providing accurate labor/time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
• Inspect and test vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
• Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)
