Location: Glendale
Express Service Advisor - 4-Day Workweek!
Offered by Glendale Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram (GDCJR). Pay range: $16.00/hr - $18.00/hr local 777 union position. 40 hours per week, rotating 4 days (10 hours per shift) 7am-6pm, some Saturdays. Hourly pay plus weekly commissions based on service drive maintenance sales.
Job Requirements- One year of express lane advisor experience strongly preferred.
- Computer proficiency.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Conditional offer of employment; must pass drug and background checks and maintain a clean driving record.
- Meet and greet service customers promptly, professionally, and courteously.
- Listen to customers’ reasons for bringing vehicles to the service department.
- Inspect vehicles and refer to service history to identify and verify service needs.
- Promote sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by understanding product and service requirements ethically.
- Provide accurate cost and time estimates for recommended services; obtain proper authorization from customers.
- Check progress of services and contact customers to communicate and obtain approvals for any changes in cost, time, or services.
- Administer new and used vehicle warranty repairs per manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct post‑repair follow‑up with customers to ensure concerns are addressed.
- Inspect vehicles before delivery to ensure correct services or repairs.
- Meet state and federal law requirements for automobile repair and consumer protection.
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Company values in all interactions.
