Responsibilities
- Lead multiple actuarial projects, driving strategy, product development, and innovation across key business lines
- Perform actuarial analyses, identify trends, and assess rate adequacy during rate reviews.
- Apply reserving techniques to project ultimate losses and support quarterly reserve evaluations.
- Use predictive modeling and machine learning to enhance business performance.
- Support enterprise risk assessments, including concentration and exposure analyses.
- Visualization:
Develop interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau) to communicate insights and inform decisions. - Leadership:
Manage high-impact projects, introduce new ideas, and influence business direction. - Engage in ongoing professional education and actuarial development.
- Collaboration & Growth:
Seek and incorporate feedback to strengthen skills and drive excellence.
- 5+ years of progressive actuarial experience.
- Strong SQL skills and deep understanding of relational databases.
- Proficient in R, Python, or similar statistical programming tools.
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization platforms preferred.
