Business Development & Growth Manager — DIELINE Awards (Remote / Commission + Stipend)
Position type: 4‑month contract (Nov 2025 – Feb 2026), remote & flexible hours.
Stipend: $2,500 /month. Commission earned monthly on closed sales: 15% on award entries and agency packages, 20% on sponsor ships, 10% on trophy sales.
Potential to extend to a year‑round role with base of ~ $30 k / yr plus continued commissions.
About DielineDieline, founded in 2007, is the leading global platform for consumer packaging design, with millions of readers. The Dieline Awards is a respected design competition featuring over 1,200 entries from 75+ countries.
About the RoleLead all weekly marketing execution and drive revenue growth for the Dieline Awards through outreach and sales. Will work directly with the founder and use provided creative, lead lists, and brand assets.
Responsibilities- Execute weekly email marketing campaigns and social media scheduling (creative and templates provided).
- Outreach to past entrants, agencies, and design firms using the supplied database and Linked In.
- Sell award entries, agency award packages, trophies, and sponsor ships.
- Manage post‑award communication with winners, especially regarding trophy orders.
- Track outreach activity, code usage, and performance metrics.
- Monthly stipend: $2,500 (November – February).
- Commission: 15% on award entries & agency packages, 20% on sponsor ships, 10% on trophy sales.
- All outreach tools, promo codes, and marketing materials provided.
Extended role would be a $30,000 /year base (~$2,500 / month) with ongoing commissions and growth opportunities.
What You’ll Do- Send weekly email campaigns using existing creative and lists.
- Schedule and manage social media posts on Instagram, Linked In, etc.
- Leverage database of past winners and entrants for direct outreach.
- Lead direct outreach to design firms and agencies to drive entries.
- Pitch and close agency entry bundles and sponsor ships.
- Manage trophy order communication post‑announcement.
- Track outreach activity, code usage, and performance.
- Creative industry professional with sales, partnership, or marketing coordination experience.
- Comfortable in a hybrid role mixing outreach and execution.
- Organized and self‑motivated, with a bias toward action.
- Familiar with tools like Mailchimp, Linked In, and basic CRM/logging.
- Excited about packaging design, brand visibility, and creative culture.
- Entry season launch management.
- Year‑round agency relationship oversight.
- Sponsor fulfillment and future event sales.
- Contributing to Dieline Awards‑branded live experiences (projected 2026‑27).
- Long‑term progression to senior business development leadership.
- Start:
November 2025. - Term: 4‑month contract to start (through February 2026).
- Remote & flexible hours.
- Approx. 15‑20 hours per week.
