DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Drive assets into SAS and Signature AMP via working with advisory teams to identify areas of opportunity (cost reduction, streamlining operations, consolidating into approved managers)
- Provide thought leadership on portfolio positioning via internal and external client-facing written commentary and video collateral
- Contribute to the management of SAS and STS
- Lead manager research efforts as needed
- Support the acquisitions process by reviewing prospective advisor’s book of business for opportunities, serving as a resource and demonstrating depth of expertise available through the Signature platform
- Work with portfolio associates and analysts to support day-to-day operations
- Assist with new client proposals and investment analysis
- Write reports and communicate research findings to analysts, associates, and/or traders
- Regular contributor to periodic Investment Committee meetings
- Primary product specialist for various asset classes/categories
- Lead and contribute to various projects to achieve departmental goals
- Create new collateral and content to support the business initiatives of SEIA
- Provide sales support to SEIA and SIA
- Research investments and provide security selection for discretionary models
- Ensure all recommended investments have adequate and documented basis
- Comply with all regulatory requirements
- Contribute to various projects to achieve departmental goals
- Manage and update collateral
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- Computer skills required:
Microsoft Office Suite:
Word Processing Software (Word);
Electronic Mail Software (Outlook);
Presentation software (PowerPoint);
Spreadsheet software (Excel) - Other skills preferred: CFP, MBA, CAIA or other relevant industry designations, Series 7 and 65/66
