Role Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our team on a bank staff basis. As a Bank Nursery Practitioner, you will provide high-quality care and education to children, support the day-to-day running of the nursery, and ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support children’s learning and development through a range of engaging activities
  • Work collaboratively with the nursery team to maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere
  • Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, and other professionals
  • Observe and assess children’s progress, and keep accurate records
  • Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of the nursery
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
