Role Overview:We are seeking enthusiastic and qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our team on a bank staff basis. As a Bank Nursery Practitioner, you will provide high-quality care and education to children, support the day-to-day running of the nursery, and ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all children in our care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children’s learning and development through a range of engaging activities
- Work collaboratively with the nursery team to maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere
- Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, and other professionals
- Observe and assess children’s progress, and keep accurate records
- Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of the nursery
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
