Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry or oil field.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction estimating, quality control, blueprint reading, and schematics.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
Responsibilities
  • Advanced skills and understanding in Sub Arc Welding.
  • Be able to train Sub Arc Welders as well as other welders.
  • Plan, assign, schedule, and supervise the work of skilled, Sub Arc, machine work, welding, cutting, brazing, steam fitting, grinding.
  • Supervise the installation, repair, and maintenance.
  • Lay out and supervise the cutting and fitting of material in preparation for welding.
  • Maintain and repair welding equipment.
  • Prepare routine work and time reports and maintain standard records.
  • Recruit and train subordinate personnel; establish safety and work performance standards.
Common Performance Factors
  • Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and laborers.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any design or construction issues.
  • Monitor and track project progress, including materials, equipment, and labor costs.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
