PAY: Pay $75,000 - $95,000 Annual Salary, Commensurate with experience
LOCATION: Groveland, CA, although projects range throughout California. Hybrid (with travel required between site locations)
This role offers a hybrid work environment with travel required to our Sierra Nevada and Ojai, CA office locations as needed for on-site work.

JOB SUMMARY:
Watershed Progressive (WP) seeks a Construction Supervisor to lead commercial and public works LID and Green Infrastructure projects. This person must be proficient in budgeting, bid document production and management, scheduling and phasing, cost management, contracts, project reporting, and complete turn-key delivery of projects from Design through Closeout and Warranty. Success in this role will require leading the organization of individual projects efficiently while maintaining a positive work environment for the entire Project Team and stakeholders, as well as leading the coordination and scheduling of all WP construction projects throughout the calendar year to maintain a steady workflow.
GENERAL JOB DUTIES:
• Review project contracts, plans, and specifications, and comment on the design, scheduling, possible cost savings measures, and potential construction issues or concerns.
• Define project scope.
• Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring subcontractors and working with engineers and clients.
• Develop new and improved existing standards, templates, procedures, and methods.
• Prepare and manage all project documents, including submittals, progress reports, and exhibits.
• Coordinate with project sponsors, designers, and engineers to create complete bid packages including but not limited to drawings, specifications, project timeline, measure and payment specs, engineer’s cost estimate, and special conditions.
• Review subcontractor bids for conformity to contract requirements and determine acceptable proposals.
• Establish and grow relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project schedules and ensure synchronization with clients and subcontractors.
• Identify and define changes in scope and communicate cost impacts for change order requests.
• Examine estimates, budgets, costs, and financial reporting; interpret and analyze reports.
• Provide staff and management feedback on the project’s progress and budget.
• Effectively resolve complaints and issues.
• Ensure the highest level of client communication and customer service.
• Train and manage Assistant Project Managers.
• Direct, coordinate, and motivate the project team to meet deliverables and stay on budget.
• Travel to the project job site as often as the project requires
• Check in with Project Managers weekly to assess personnel needs and project status
• Generate 4 week forecasted construction calendars each month and adjust them as needed
• Manage annual project forecast and adjust for new projects, delays, change orders, etc.
• Assess capacity needs for upcoming projects and report recommended hiring or layoffs to Hub Director as needed
• Represent Installation Hub on the Operations Committee to communicate project priorities, scheduling needs, and forecasting
• Work directly with Project Managers and Hub Director to plan and schedule all WP construction projects
• Help lead construction projects and QC hub deliverables
• Project Management of Installation Hub projects
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• 5+ years of full-time construction project management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in construction, Construction Management, or a related field
• Two years of relevant coursework or practical experience in water, wastewater, groundwater, stormwater, or recycled water fields performing professional-level resource planning, modeling, and legislative or regulatory analysis is preferred.
