We’re partnered with a general contractor seeking a Construction Manager to lead multifamily projects from preconstruction through delivery. This role is ideal for a field‑driven leader experienced with ground‑up apartment, mixed‑use, or podium‑style construction who can drive schedule, quality, and cost control across multiple trades.
Base pay range$/yr – $/yr
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day‑to‑day construction activities for multifamily projects
- Manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and site logistics
- Coordinate with development, design, and ownership teams
- Lead subcontractor meetings and ensure trade coordination
- Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications
- Enforce safety programs, quality standards, and building code compliance
- Drive unit turnover, inspections, and successful project closeout
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- 5+ years of construction management experience
- Proven background in multifamily construction (garden‑style, podium, wrap, or high‑rise)
- Strong knowledge of wood‑frame, podium, and/or concrete construction methods
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors and aggressive schedules
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and critical‑path schedules
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- OSHA 30 certification
- Consistent pipeline of multifamily developments
- Strong development and construction leadership
