Position: Construction Superintendent – WKS test (Lance, MI)
Location: Lance

Clockwork Construction, Inc. is a General Contractor that specializes in restaurant and commercial construction. Currently, we are looking for an experienced Superintendent to supervise remodel, conversion, and ground-up projects. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a proven track record of being able to finish projects on time, supervising both subcontractors and self-performance labor and delivering quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management of all onsite activities, including all aspects of general operations, compliance, logistics, and reporting.
  • Coordinate, schedule and manage construction workers, subcontractors and suppliers in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Order and track tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensures all employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy.
  • Maintains an organized, clean and SWPPP compliant job site, including the construction office.
  • Schedule and coordinate all building inspections as necessary throughout the project.
  • Prepare detailed daily progress reports as well as maintain updated project schedule.
  • Enforce compliance with safety standards for workers, visitors, and the public and address safety issues as they arise.
  • Create, submit, and track RFIs, and RFI responses.
  • Upholding Company quality and cleanliness standards.
  • Managing job site security.
  • Participating in owners’ meetings to discuss scheduling, progress, costs, logistics, etc.
  • Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in restaurant and commercial construction.
  • Proficient reading plans, pulling permits, inspections, and other construction documentation.
  • Proficient on computers and with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook).
  • Strong leadership, motivational and organizational skills.
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Available to work extended hours as required.
  • Motor vehicle driving record that is consistent with Company standards and policies.
  • Able to travel as needed.
  • Compensation: DOE plus variable bonuses based upon company and individual performance.
