Position: Construction Superintendent – WKS test (Lance, MI)
Location: Lance

Clockwork Construction, Inc. is a General Contractor that specializes in restaurant and commercial construction. Currently, we are looking for an experienced Superintendent to supervise remodel, conversion, and ground-up projects. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a proven track record of being able to finish projects on time, supervising both subcontractors and self-performance labor and delivering quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Management of all onsite activities, including all aspects of general operations, compliance, logistics, and reporting.

Coordinate, schedule and manage construction workers, subcontractors and suppliers in collaboration with the Project Manager.

Order and track tools, materials, and equipment.

Ensures all employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy.

Maintains an organized, clean and SWPPP compliant job site, including the construction office.

Schedule and coordinate all building inspections as necessary throughout the project.

Prepare detailed daily progress reports as well as maintain updated project schedule.

Enforce compliance with safety standards for workers, visitors, and the public and address safety issues as they arise.

Create, submit, and track RFIs, and RFI responses.

Upholding Company quality and cleanliness standards.

Managing job site security.

Participating in owners’ meetings to discuss scheduling, progress, costs, logistics, etc.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years experience in restaurant and commercial construction.

Proficient reading plans, pulling permits, inspections, and other construction documentation.

Proficient on computers and with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook).

Strong leadership, motivational and organizational skills.

Have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Available to work extended hours as required.

Motor vehicle driving record that is consistent with Company standards and policies.

Able to travel as needed.

Compensation: DOE plus variable bonuses based upon company and individual performance.
