We are actively seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Chief Estimator to join our team. We are one of San Diego's best and most respected heavy civil construction firms. We self‑perform heavy highway, public works, and site development projects. We specialize in earthwork, bridges, retaining walls, and paving.

Must have experience in two or more of the following Heavy Civil Construction areas: excavation, paving, bridges, or concrete structures.

Base pay range

$/yr - $/yr

Employee Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary $240k-$280k, DOE
• 401k with company match
• Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays

Required Experience / Skills / Qualifications

5+ years of estimating experience in Cal Trans projects. Hard bid and alternative delivery experience preferred.

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with HCSS or other software preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
• Negotiated project experience preferred, including technical writing skills
