About the Role

We are seeking a Construction Inspector to support our growing portfolio of civil infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their technical skills in field inspection, construction documentation, and quality assurance. This role will work alongside senior inspectors and project engineers to monitor construction activities, verify compliance with project specifications, and help ensure job site safety. The position requires regular travel to job sites throughout the region.

  • Observe and report on contractor methods, materials, and workmanship for conformance with approved plans and specs.
  • Document construction progress through photos, measurements, and daily inspection reports.
  • Support field and laboratory testing of construction materials (e.g., concrete, soils, asphalt) under supervision.
  • Identify and report any non-compliant or defective work to senior staff.
  • Help ensure OSHA safety standards and site-specific safety plans are being followed.
  • Communicate effectively with field staff, contractors, and internal project teams.
  • Attend site meetings and participate in RFI and submittal tracking, as needed.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant field inspection experience in civil construction projects.
  • Working knowledge of construction materials, methods, and common inspection practices.
  • OSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain prior to starting).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete accurate field reports.
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Construction Materials Testing (CMT) certification (e.g., ACI, NICET, or equivalent).
Compensation
  • This position offers a pay range of $20–$26 per hour, along with comprehensive health benefits, PTO, and holiday pay.
  • The listed salary range reflects the potential compensation for this role. Starting pay will be based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
