Catholic Music Director & Musician

Position: Catholic Music Director & Musician
Location: Foothills Chapel, Beale AFB, CA
Schedule: Sundays (2 hrs weekly), monthly Thursday rehearsal (2 hrs), ~9 special events/year

• Provide music for weekly Catholic Mass, monthly choir rehearsals, and special services.

• Select and lead liturgical music in coordination with the Catholic Chaplain.

• Direct choir and accompany worship with voice/instrument.

• Recruit, train, and manage volunteer musicians.

• Maintain equipment, records, and submit annual music budget.

• Bachelor’s degree in Music (preferred).

• 2+ years’ experience directing choirs and leading Catholic worship.

• Ability to sight-read and perform from OCP/GIA/Gather sources.

• Skilled in vocal/instrumental performance and audio/visual systems.

• Must pass background checks; references and audition required.
