Now, we’re looking for a Director of Apparel Design & Collections to lead the creative direction of our product line and bring full, cohesive collections to life. If you’ve designed and delivered collections for a brand doing at least $100M+ in annual revenue — keep reading.

You’ll be fully responsible for driving the creative vision behind Cove’s future apparel collections — from concept and storytelling to color palettes, silhouettes, graphics, and final approvals. You’ll collaborate closely with our technical designer to ensure each garment fits, functions, and feels premium, while owning the creative direction, mood, and aesthetic that defines the next era of Cove.

Your mission: create world‑class collections that strengthen our brand identity and push Cove into the next level of elevated, intentional design.

• Build full seasonal and monthly collection concepts, including mood boards, themes, color stories, trends, and design direction
• Design silhouettes, cuts, trims, fits, and overall garment aesthetics across all categories
• Ideate graphic directions and collaborate with graphic designers on execution
• Approve lab dips, fabric selections, color standards, wash treatments, and trims
• Lead in‑person fittings and make creative and functional adjustments
• Create detailed collection presentations that communicate design intent
• Collaborate with the technical designer to move products from sketch to production
• Identify new fabrics, construction methods, and innovation opportunities
• Ensure consistency across collections so every product feels unmistakably Cove
• Drive the long‑term product roadmap with elevated, commercially strong design

• An apparel designer who has led the creative direction of full collections
• Experienced designing for a $100M+ lifestyle or apparel brand
• Knowledgeable about fabrics, construction, silhouettes, trims, and garment development
• Strong at building visual stories through mood boards and seasonal concepts
• Hands‑on with fittings, lab dips, and product approvals
• Able to collaborate cross‑functionally to bring concepts to life
• Fast, iterative, and highly self‑directed
• Capable of working hybrid/in‑house when needed
• Obsessed with detail, aesthetic, and creating products people love

• You’ve only done freelance graphics or surface‑level design work
• You haven’t designed full collections or owned seasonal product direction
• You haven’t worked in a fast‑moving DTC or lifestyle brand
• You are uncomfortable with tight deadlines or iterative feedback
• You cannot work in‑house/hybrid for fittings and product reviews
• Experience in premium or performance apparel
• Strong color theory and trend forecasting skills
• Ability to direct shoots to ensure design intent is represented
• Experience working with UGC or marketing teams
• A portfolio showing both creativity and commercial viability

• Delivering complete, cohesive collections that elevate Cove’s identity
• Expanding the product pipeline with thoughtful, premium concepts
• Improving fit, quality, and design consistency
• Speeding up development cycles by managing creative approvals in‑house
• Creating products that our community becomes obsessed with
• Becoming a trusted creative partner for long‑term brand direction
