About

The Role

VSCO is seeking a Senior Digital Media Designer with exceptional visual and motion design skills to concept, design, and produce high-impact creative across marketing and product surfaces. You’ll create standout graphics, animations, and short‑form video assets for our website, social channels, native products, emails, and beyond—always with an eye toward driving measurable performance and impact on business outcomes. You’ll work quickly and collaboratively across brand, marketing, curation, and product teams.

You'll iterate rapidly to deliver top-performing creative that feels unmistakably VSCO. Your work will shape how millions of creators experience our brand, amplify community talent, and influence the broader creative industry.

The Day to Day
  • Own the end-to-end production of digital static and motion assets—from initial direction to final, pixel‑perfect delivery.
  • Concept, test, and iterate on graphics, animations, and video that deliver clear, measurable impact across acquisition, engagement, and retention channels.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Curation, and Product Design to align creative with product priorities and market strategy.
  • Develop deep expertise in the VSCO Brand System and apply it rigorously while pushing its evolution through fresh, inventive approaches.
  • Bring a creator‑first mindset, advocating for the voice, craft, and integrity of our community throughout your work.
Qualifications
  • Mastery of visual design fundamentals: color, typography, composition, layout, and storytelling through imagery.
  • Advanced motion design and video production skills, including short‑form editing, animation, and dynamic visual systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to create performance-focused creative—with a portfolio that includes work that successfully drove engagement, conversion, or other key marketing metrics.
  • Extraordinary attention to detail, including thoughtful use of constraints, accessibility considerations, and safe‑area best practices.
  • Proven ability to execute multiple projects at pace, working efficiently under overlapping timelines.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach to feedback and communication in a remote environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva, with experience designing using AI features and tools.
  • Experience working in a fast‑moving startup or agile environment.
Nice to Have
  • Affinity for VSCO's brand, values, and mission.
  • An MFA or equivalent degree in Design, Photography, or Fine Arts.
Job Perks
  • Hybrid work with an office in San Francisco, CA.
  • Regular in‑person events to connect and collaborate.
  • Competitive salary & equity.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and families.
