Theatre Production Assistant - Back House - 71117
St. Charles Community College (SCC) is located just west of St. Louis, in the heart of growing St. Charles County. We serve a growing diverse student population and are committed to increasing diversity among faculty and staff. This part‑time temporary position supports the scheduled operation of the theatre and affiliated technical areas on campus.
Responsibilities- Assist with coordinating the use of theatre facilities by internal and external groups.
- Assist with the technical aspects of productions, campus and incoming performances, conferences, and meetings.
- Support scenic construction, painting, and prop work.
- Operate stage lighting and sound systems.
- Experience in technical theatre and theatrical construction.
- Experience with heavy‑duty shop and woodworking equipment and tools.
- Experience with sound and lighting equipment.
- Experience with computer systems related to stage lighting, 24‑channel sound mix, video playback and projection, winch‑driven power rigging, radial arm saw, table saw, band saw, and other standard construction tools.
