Accessories Designer / Product Developer
Location: Onsite in the Valley
Reports To: Creative Director
Our client is a private label accessories brand partnering with major retailers including Target, Nordstrom, Anthropologie, Abercrombie & Fitch, Calvin Klein, Kohl’s, Banana Republic, American Eagle, and more.
We are seeking a detail‑oriented, highly organized Accessories Designer / Product Developer with a focus on belts and accessories who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. The ideal candidate is ambitious, self‑motivated, collaborative, and able to manage multiple projects independently from concept through production.
Design & Development Skills- Create CADs using Adobe Illustrator
- Clean, edit, and manipulate images in Adobe Photoshop
- 3D design skills required with proficiency in CLO (ZBrush and Rhino are a plus)
- Experience with AI design tools is a plus
- Create and edit files in Microsoft Word, Excel (spreadsheets and tech packs), and PowerPoint (customer presentations)
- Research trends and translate fashion concepts for key customers
- Manage product development follow‑up with customers
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable communicating with customers, suppliers, and factories
- Experience working with PLM systems (FLEX and SharePoint preferred)
- Organize and log incoming seasonal product
- Photograph products and clean, crop, and color‑correct images in Photoshop (lightbox and camera provided)
- Coordinate additional photography needs as required
- Input and maintain product data
- 5–10 years of relevant experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or a related field
- Accessories focus, particularly belts and handbags, is a plus
- Advanced Adobe Illustrator skills, including custom brushes and repeat patterns
- Strong Adobe Photoshop skills, including layers, masks, and color correction
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Highly motivated, results‑driven, and detail‑oriented
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and multitask effectively
