Part-time Voice & Piano Teacher - Orange & Costa Mesa, CA

Overview

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional voice & piano instructor to teach part-time for our Orange County, CA school The Inside Voice. We have locations in Irvine, Costa Mesa, and Orange, CA. This position is IN PERSON.

Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but consistency is appreciated. Preference will be given to candidates with greater availability, especially weekday afternoon/evening. Ability to teach other instruments, especially beginner piano, is a plus. The teacher will take on an existing schedule of students from a departing teacher.

The Inside Voice is an Orange County based music school specializing in singing lessons; we also offer piano, guitar, and ukulele instruction. We are committed to making high-quality music lessons accessible and affordable, while teaching the styles and techniques you want to learn.

• Teach voice and piano in person at The Inside Voice in Orange County locations (Irvine, Costa Mesa, and Orange).
• Work with an existing schedule of students transferred from departing teachers.
• Maintain punctuality and reliable attendance; communicate availability and any changes with staff and students.
• Possibly teach other instruments, especially beginner piano, as needed.

• Strong music background with a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
• Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians.
• Robust appreciation for punctuality and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and ranges from $31–$35 per hour. A 401(k) program with employer matching is available after 90 days on the job. Health benefit packages are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble.
