ABOUT OUR AGENCY Our agency opened in 2005 and currently has a team of four. Before becoming an agent, I worked in Operations and Public Affairs for State Farm. When an agent from my hometown retired, I had the opportunity to take over the agency, allowing me to continue serving the community I care so much about. I’m a proud graduate of ULM, where I earned both my undergraduate and master’s degrees.

I’m married with two daughters and a two-year-old grandson who keeps us smiling. Our team loves being part of the community and frequently participates in local events, like trunk‑or‑treats and other neighborhood gatherings. ROLE DESCRIPTION Laurinda Crenshaw - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Compensation $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
