Interim Dentist – Quality of Care & Utilization Management

Location: Remote (Must reside in California)

Duration: Approximately 4 months

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced California-licensed Dentist (DDS) to provide interim leadership for Quality of Care and Utilization Management programs. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with clinical standards, optimizing member care, and supporting strategic initiatives to enhance dental quality and utilization oversight.

• Oversee and manage the Quality of Care program for dental services.
• Lead Utilization Management activities, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain high standards of dental care delivery.
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance on dental policies, procedures, and utilization review.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and reporting requirements.

• Active DDS license in California (required).
• Must reside in California (remote work permitted).
• Strong knowledge of dental quality standards, utilization management, and regulatory compliance.
• Previous experience in managed care, quality assurance, or utilization review preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Remote position – candidates must live in California.
• Approximately 4-month interim assignment
