Key Responsibilities
  • Inspire Oral Health Excellence:
    Perform professional cleanings, including oral prophylaxis, while educating patients on brushing, flossing, and nutrition for lifelong oral health.

  • Be a Smile Advocate:
    Apply topical fluorides, place sealants, and screen for cavities, periodontal disease, oral cancer, and medical history concerns.

  • Showcase Your Precision:
    Conduct radiographs, perform supra- and subgingival scaling, root planing, and provide comprehensive care for acute periodontal conditions.

  • Enhance Advanced Care:
    Assist with periodontal surgical techniques and administer local anesthetics (if qualified), ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

  • Lead Oral Health Assessments:
    Record thorough and accurate medical histories to support individualized care plans.

  • Promote Preventive Care:
    Deliver therapeutic treatments while empowering patients to take charge of their dental health.

  • Ensure Seamless Documentation:
    Maintain detailed, timely, and accurate patient records to uphold clinical excellence.

  • Support Team Growth:
    Train and mentor dental assistants, fostering a skilled and collaborative team environment.

  • Make a Community Impact:
    Participate in dental prevention and education initiatives that promote oral health awareness.

  • Embrace Adaptability:
    Take on additional tasks as needed, contributing to a positive and innovative clinical setting.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Dental Hygiene.

  • Licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice.

  • Current CPR certification.

  • Previous experience is desired but not required.

  • Willingness to become licensed in additional states as needed.

  • Comfortable providing telehealth services to clients.

Required License/Certification
  • Registered Dental Hygienist License in the state of practice.

Additional Qualifications
  • Knowledge of all phases of dental hygiene, including the use of equipment, instruments, and materials.

  • Ability to educate patients on preventative dentistry practices.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with patients and staff.
