Registered Dental Hygenist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our patient-focused dental team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated hygienist who is passionate about preventive and periodontal care, enjoys patient education, and thrives in a supportive environment. In addition to providing comprehensive cleanings and periodontal therapy, this role offers bonus opportunities for irrigation, diode laser therapy, and Arestin placement that you diagnose and perform.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene services, including scaling and root planing (SRP) procedures.
• Conduct patient assessments: review medical history, record vital signs, evaluate periodontal health and periodontal pocket charting.
• Diagnose and perform adjunctive therapies:
• Irrigation
• Diode laser therapy
• Arestin placement (with bonus incentives for these services)
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment needs.
• Capture and process X-rays and other diagnostic images as needed.
• Accurately document findings and treatment in Eaglesoft
  .
• Ensure patient confidentiality and safety by adhering to HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with dentists and staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered care as well as inform dentists of possible conditions

Qualifications

• Active RDH license in the state of practice (required).
• Experience performing SRP and periodontal therapies.
• Familiarity with EMR systems;
  Eaglesoft experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Team-oriented with a professional and positive attitude.
• Prior experience in a dental office or clinical setting is highly desirable.
