Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Licensed Architect to join our California-based design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in all phases of architectural design and a deep understanding of California building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainability practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage architectural design projects from concept through construction documentation and administration.
  • Ensure compliance with the California Building Code (CBC),
    Title 24
    , and local jurisdictional requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and design teams to achieve project goals.
  • Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality control throughout all project phases.
  • Conduct site visits and coordinate with construction teams to ensure design intent is executed accurately.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal design and technical standards.
Qualifications
  • California Architect License (active and in good standing).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architecture.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite
    .
  • Strong knowledge of CBC, ADA, Title 24, and CALGreen standards.
  • Excellent design, visualization, and communication skills.
  • LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable design preferred.
