Senior Technical Designer / Senior Interior Architect (Hospitality / High‑End Interiors)
Marc Ange Design Studio — internationally recognized design practice known for high‑end hospitality and luxury interior projects — is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Designer or Senior Interior Architect to support ongoing and upcoming projects. This role focuses on technical excellence, not creative authorship. The ideal candidate is highly autonomous, detail‑oriented, and comfortable owning the technical execution of complex interior projects.
Location: Los Angeles, CA, US (remote possible)
Employment Type: Full‑time (Freelance or Full‑time options)

Responsibilities- Lead production of DD and CD drawing sets for hospitality and high‑end residential projects
- Develop detailed millwork drawings, elevations, sections, and schedules
- Coordinate with AOR, GC, engineers, and consultants
- Review and respond to RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings
- Ensure alignment between design intent and technical execution
- Support Construction Administration tasks, including site coordination (if local)
- Collaborate with Creative Director and Studio/Project Manager to maintain project schedules and deliverables
- 8–20 years experience in architecture or interior architecture
- Strong command of AutoCAD and Revit
- Significant experience in hospitality or complex interior environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Deep knowledge of U.S. construction standards; ADA familiarity preferred
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage time across multiple active projects
- Freelance availability immediately is a strong advantage
- Experience with luxury hospitality brands
- Comfort working with international teams (Paris / Los Angeles / Milan)
- Strong organizational skills and a calm, solution‑oriented approach
