We are excited to add a seasoned Senior Technical Designer to the Ariat team. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with great technical accuracy and expertise. You will be responsible for owning one or more categories, ensuring fit and quality standards are well executed and consistent across all styles.

Responsibilities- Own and manage categories, ensuring fit and quality standards are met and consistent across styles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute technical designs
- Lead fit sessions, review prototypes, and provide technical feedback
- Work closely with factories to ensure technical specifications are understood and followed
- 10+ years of experience in Technical Design, particularly in Outerwear/Garments
- Deep expertise in fit, pattern making, grading, technical construction, costing, and fabrics
- Strong eye for proportion, balance, and aesthetic details
- Ability to lead projects, meetings, and fit sessions confidently
- Extensive experience working with factories and understanding garment manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, MS Office Suite, Centric PLM, and 2D pattern making systems (Accumark a plus)
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking ability
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills with partners and vendors
- Adaptability and quick decision-making in changing environments
- Passion for managing product lifecycle and meeting deadlines
- Curiosity and drive for process and efficiency improvements

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000 per year.
The salary is determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market data. This range may be adjusted in the future.
