AboutThe Role
Your client is an LA based interior design studio recognized for crafting refined, story-driven spaces across hospitality and high-end residential projects. The studio is celebrated for its nuanced use of materials, color, and texture, resulting in interiors that are both character-rich and timeless.
They are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to support the design team across a range of hospitality and residential projects. This role offers hands‑on exposure to all phases of the design process, from early concept development through project execution, making it an excellent opportunity for a designer eager to build a strong technical and creative foundation within a collaborative, design-forward environment.
This position is well suited for an emerging designer with strong organizational skills, a passion for interiors, and a desire to grow within an established and creatively led studio. Key Responsibilities- Assist in all phases of the design process, from concept development through construction administration
- Support preparation of FF&E packages, including sourcing, specifications, and sample coordination
- Produce design drawings, layouts, and presentation materials using AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
- Help maintain organized project documentation and track updates across multiple projects
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal teams to support project workflows
- Participate in design meetings, client presentations, and site visits alongside senior team members
- Contribute to studio-wide creative collaboration and research initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field from an accredited program
- 2–3 years of professional, post‑graduate experience
- Foundational understanding of FF&E, materials, and construction documentation
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to multitask
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite;
Revit experience preferred - Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a collaborative mindset
